  • Glashütter Uhrenbetriebe (GUB): East German state conglomerate; privatized as Glashütte Original.
  • UROFA: Historic Glashütte movement maker, defunct.
  • A. Lange & Söhne (original): Expropriated after WWII; revived 1990 by Walter Lange.
  • Lip (original): Iconic French manufacture, bankrupt 1970s; name revived.
  • Yema (original): French manufacture, dormant then revived.
